Engineers with experience from onshore/offshore projects

All Engineers applying to this advertisement is required to have earlier experiences from maritime/onshore/offshore with good knowledge to NORSOK and other norwegian regulations.

The Engineers are responsible for performing various maintenance and construction tasks to onshore/offshore rigs and platforms and plants; construction, installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, dismantling and testing. He/She will participate in a team of Engineers and Technical personnel to support the long term reliability and operability of the equipment and plant. During the pre-operational phase he/she will participate in the development of the maintenance and operational procedures for equipment and construction.

General Responsibilities include:
- Provide technical expertise for construction issues within the Operations and Clients
- Manage all technical support issues for all operators onshore/offshore assets
- Evaluate and validate new and existing maintenance concepts and prepare proposals
- Review and monitor planned maintenance and constructional activities
- Participate in the continuous improvement process
- Perform failure mode and effect analysis in order to determine the repair responsibility and requirement
- Follow up condition monitoring
- Usage of trends observed and future projections to decide on vulnerable equipment/processes that needs more regular monitoring and revising of maintenance programs
- Evaluate and validate the maintenance/construction concept to be applied such as:
- Classification of equipment’s/constructions, definition of redundancy levels, criticality
- Selection of methods and techniques to be applied
- Selection of means to be applied

- Provide and validate first degree, preventive and condition based maintenance/construction programs with their intervals
- Provide and validate the parts requirement to ensure availability of equipment/construction,
- Define security stocks to ensure the required availability of equipment’s,
- Assist in the planning and management of construction and upgrades
- Study / preparation of specifications for major modification work
- Participation in turnaround planning

Required expertise :
All documentation requires fluent technichal english language, and the main languages at the client is english and norwegian .
You need to have good skills in software as: Inventor,3D AutoCad, STAAD, 3D PDMS, KMS (design/draft), SAP, TIME, LCI/DFO. (documentation required)

Knowledge Authority rules and work regulations in Norway (NORSOK), and good knowledge of HSE Regulations and EU directives.

- Experience in carrying out a variety of regular routine, major and auxiliary technical monitoring checks and analysis
- Verified experience with constructions from offshore oil and/or gas production facilities
- Knowledge of design, equipment sizing and selection, design specifications, industry standards, monitoring, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repair methods for similar constructions and futured maintenance

Technical Competence: Ability to design, specify, modify and present construction drawings. Extensive familiarity with internationally recognized Codes and Standards associated with the subjects construction.

It is preferable that applicants are proficient in English/Scandinavian, fluent written and orally.

Minimum Requirements: You must have at least Master / bachelor degree and experience in your dicipline. Minimum 3-5 years of naval/maritime/onshore/offshore experience.
